Use Your Elbows

Found this technique in a note book I used to write down every technique I would learn in class.
This is good to use against a head hunter, most street fighters will try to hit you in the face first, this one teaches you not to stand in front of someone and trade blows.

Your opponent steps toward you and tries to hit you in the face/head, it doesn't matter if it's a big round house punch or a straight punch. He is punching with his right hand, step on a slight angle with your left foot and squat into a full horse under the punching arm and do a left back elbow to his ribs, now turn into a left horse and right front elbow to his ribs, come up behind his right arm and grab his right shoulder with your left hand and the back of his neck with your right hand and pull him down as you right knee up into his abdomen or stomach bending him over, after the knee turn and step into a right horse and drop your left elbow on to the back of his neck.

Give this one a try and be careful !

Breaking A Finger

Hi All,
This technique really puts the hurt on any attacker. Our fingers are one of the most sensitive parts of our body, that also makes them one of the most painful when hurt. This technique will put anyone out of the fighting mood.
Some hostile person is stepping toward you and tries to poke his right index finger onto your chest or push you with his right hand. You grab his wrist with your left hand and grab his finger with your right hand and stepping forward with your left foot push it back and down toward them hard, this will break their finger and drop them to their knees in front of you, keep hold of his finger and right knee into his face. Keep his arm toward the center of your body, this keeps your body weight on it. An interesting variation I saw on another site is to grab the wrist and in a chopping motion you insert your hand between the fingers and then grab one or two of the opponents fingers. If you give these techniques a try be careful !!

Enjoy , Jerry
